With the big bantamweight unification fight happening early next year, on February 27th at the Manchester Arena, we?ve an interesting little story relating to the tickets.
Tickets for the promotion are sure to be scarce and it wouldn?t surprise me if the tickets were to all sell-out in a matter of hours after they?re put on public sale.
Naturally, both fighters will want an allocation of tickets and it?d be hard to deny them what we feel is rightly theirs.
However, it seems that Scott Quigg has a unique collection point when it comes to the delivery of some of his tickets.
It appears that Quigg leaves them with his mum and dad who run an old fashioned chippie with Quigg admitting,
?I sell a lot of tickets and they pick them up from my nans chippy.?
I?d hazard a guess that it improves trade in the chippie with those collecting tickets walking out with something to eat as well.
Cod, Small Chips and Two Fight Tickets Please!
