The vibes coming from Wales are that the fighting career of Nathan Cleverly could be over.

Having lost his WBO light-heavyweight title in such devastating fashion to the Russian, Sergey Kovalev, it would appear that Nathan is questioning his future in the sport.

With dreams of a mega-clash with the likes of Bernard Hopkins now in tatters, Cleverly is questioning whether he has the heart and desire to get back to where he was with the following quotes emerging in the media,

?There?s more to life than Boxing. Something I?ve always said is I would not continue once I lost. I will have a good break, let my instincts lead me.?

?I have to ask myself whether I have the hunger to chase a world title again, or if I am happy with what I?ve achieved.?

If Nathan, at just 26 years of age, does decide to turn his back on the sport he?s dedicated his life to, it?ll be a crying shame but like Nathan says, if the hunger isn?t there then it is best to walk away.
