For a third time!

Having decided to move up to cruiserweight, after losing his WBO light-heavyweight title to Sergey Kovalev back in August, after initially toying with the idea of retiring from the sport, it looks like we?ll have to wait a while longer to see the Welshman make his cruiserweight debut.

After seeing two fight dates fall by the wayside, Cleverly had been scheduled to fight on 1st March at the Aintree Racecourse, in Liverpool. Although an opponent had yet to be named it has been confirmed that Cleverly will not be fighting on the proposed bill.

No official reason has been given yet and we await for the Cleverly camp to offer an explanation, meanwhile, those rumours about not wanting to fight on after suffering that first defeat, against Sergey Kovlev, will soon be circulating again.
