With his name being tossed around as a potential next opponent for the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion, Antony Joshua, it appears that the Chisora camp are keen to take the fight if offered it.

Chisora, since being beaten by Tyson Fury in that WBO world title eliminator, has had three successful comeback fights and is boxing under the Sauerland promotional banner.

With an April 9th date being bandied about for the fight, it would appear that if it is offered to the Chisora camp they?d take it with Nisse Sauerland remarking,

?This is the fight that Dereck wants and we are confident he can win.

?Joshua has a lot of potential but Is not yet the finished article.

?Someone with Dereck?s experience and ability would cause him serious problems.?

Yes it would definitely be a test for Anthony Joshua but it would also give Chisora a chance to gate-crash the world title scene, although it has to be said that if Joshua were to beat him it would surely be the end of the road.
