Just recently, Dereck Chisora has been mentioned as the next possible opponent for the unbeaten Watford heavyweight, Anthony Joshua.
Chisora?s respectability in the division has been restored on the back of a respectable run of victories fighting under the Sauerland banner.
However, if I recall right, Eddie Hearn has distanced himself from committing to a fight that would see Joshua climb between the ropes to take on somebody who, in his prime, couldn?t be buckled by Wladimir Klitsckho.
However it now seems that Chisora has somewhat fallen on his feet with it being announced that Chisora, who has a record that reads 25-5 with 17 wins coming by way of knockout, will be taking on Kubrat Pulev, who has a record that reads 22-1 with 12 wins coming by way of knockout for the EBU heavyweight title.
Furthermore, the winner of the above fight will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF title currently held by the American, Charles Martin.
To me it looks as if Chisora has truly landed on his feet, I wonder if Eddie Hearn will be willing to match Joshua with Chisora if he holds the IBF world title belt!
Chisora Hits the Big Time!
