In Liverpool, last night Dereck Chisora showed that he still has something in his tank as he returned to action.

Chisora, who many believe got the rough end of the decision when he fought Dillian Whyte, is edging his way back into possible world title contention.

Last night, Chisora was matched against the Croatian heavyweight, Robert Filipovic.

Chisora was too good for his man and the fight was stopped in the fifth round.

Chisora?s next fight is against the German fighter Agit Kabayel.

The fight is for the European title and will take place, in Monaco, on November 4th on the same promotion on which Jamie McDonnell will defend his WBA Bantamweight belt against the Venuzuelan fighter Liborio Solis.

With Kabayel being unbeaten as a professional, it will be a good indication of just how much desire and ambition Chisora has in the tank.

A win against Kabayel would give Chisora a great bargaining tool when it comes to a possible heavyweight.
