Boxing for a second time in a fortnight, the former heavyweight world title contender Dereck Chisora racked up another win as he continues along his comeback trail.
Facing Jakov Gospic, Chisora put on a comprehensive display to stop his opponent, by a knockout, in the third round.
In doing so Chisora?s record moves to 24-5 with 16 wins coming by way of knockout whilst his opponent saw his record slip to 16-14 with 12 wins coming by way of knockout.
The significance of the win being that, as Anthony Joshua moves towards a crack at the world heavyweight title, towards the back end of 2016, Chisora is now being touted by Eddie Hearn as a possible opponent for the heavyweight fighter.
Chisora could be tempted to take the fight knowing that the British and Commonwealth heavyweight title belts would be at stake and a win, over the exciting Joshua, could elevate him back towards another crack at a world title.
