It was announced yesterday that one of Britain?s fighters, Charlie Edwards, will be fighting on the under-card of the huge Gennady Golovkin v Kell Brook fight.
The promotion, scheduled for the O2 Arena, in London, for 10th September, will see Charlie Edwards take on Johnriel Casimero for the IBF world flyweight title.
Edwards, 23-years-old, has had only 7 wins since turning professional in 2015, however he has a decent amateur background.
Talking about taking on a world title fight with so few professional fights behind him, Edwards has remarked,
‘Many people may think this is too early but that IBF world title is coming home with me.?
It?s always great to see a boxer exuding confidence but is this fight too early for Edwards or do you have to take a chance when something like this comes along?
Your thoughts on the subject matter would be most appreciated.
