Eagerly looking forward to getting back on the comeback trail, after those two devastating losses to Tony Thompson, we understand that there has been an opponent change for the fighter from Liverpool.

Price, with a record of 15-2 with 13 by way of knockout, should have been fighting Evgeny Orlov at the wonderfully named Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Halle, in Stuttgart on January 25th, will now go up against the harder-hitting Russian, Konstantin Airich

The Russian, coming off a record of 19-7-2 with 15 by way of knockout, is a far more dangerous looking opponent and many pundits aren?t expecting the fight to go the full scheduled 10 rounds.

Now whether Price has taken a calculated gamble on taking on Airich remains to be seen but it promises to be an encounter I?ll be looking forward to as the quiet season the sport experiences over the festive period threatens to come to an end.
