September 14th might seem a long way of but when there?s a Floyd Mayweather Junior fight on the horizon, every day is religiously ticked off.

On September 14th, Mayweather will be taking on the unbeaten Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez the current WBA/WBC junior middleweight champion who sports a record of 40-0-1 with 30 knockouts.

It has all the traits of being a tasty encounter with ?Canelo? doing his utmost to talk the fight up and coming out with a statement of intent that reads,

?I am going to prepare like never in my life because I will win that day and I will shock the world.?

That indeed is a bold statement but one made on the back of the claim that ?Canelo? has studied Mayweather?s fighting style over the years and reckons he can do a job on the ring great.

Personally, I wouldn?t bet against Mayweather, he?s always produced the goods when required and here are inferences that making the weight, for this fight; is going to be a gruelling struggle for ?Canelo?.

Although we?ll be reporting further on the build-up to this fight as it approaches but already it?s a mouth-watering prospect.
