After deciding to box on the bill, after originally pulling out of his bout due to his father?s ill-health, Luke Campbell showcased his skills by stopping his opponent in the third round.

Campbell, matched against the Nicaraguan fighter, Lewis Morales, was clearly the classier operative and his long jab and quick hands had Morales in trouble from the off.

Morales hit the canvas as the second round approached its close, courtesy of a left hand. For Morales the end wasn?t far away. The Nicaraguan was in trouble early in the third when a combination left him on the canvas again.

Morales tried valiantly, to get up but the referee, Howard Foster had seen enough and called an end to the fight.

The result means Campbell now has a record that reads 10-0 with 8 by way of knockout as he heads towards a summer showdown with Tommy Coyle.
