Our Olympic gold medallist, Luke Campbell, is set to headline a bill in Hull, at the Ice Arena, on October 25th.

Campbell, after seven wins from seven professional fights is being taken up a level with a fight for the vacant WBA intercontinental title.

His opponent is the dangerous Daniel Brizuela, a fighter who is no stranger to these shores having been involved in a classic encounter with Tommy Coyle back in February.

Talking about the opportunity this fight presents, Campbell has remarked to the media,

?This is a big step up for me but one that I feel I am ready for.?

?Brizuela?s fight with Coyle was unbelievable and I know I am in for a serious nights work, but I?m 7-0 now and with more rounds under my belt in September, I?m confident I can land my first title.?

The promotion, put on by Eddie Hearn, has the promoter remarking about moving Campbell up in class,

?Brizuela, who came back from an impressive win following his fight of the year with Tommy, is a huge step up for Luke and one we believe he is ready for.?

Can Luke Campbell rise to the challenge?

We?d like to think so.
