Over at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, last night, it was Wadi Camacho who emerged victorious.

Camacho, £34,000 richer for the experience, produced the only knockout of the night when, in round two, he knocked out courtesy of some heavy body-shots Hari Miles

On the way to the final, Camacho beat , on points, Martin Grainger and Nathan Owens whilst Miles beat Conall Carmichael and Danny McIntosh.

Winning the competition should push Camacho towards a British title fight with the winner remarking after the fight,

‘I’m happy, Eddie Hearn said I’m one step away from a British title so here we go baby.?

‘I’ve won this tournament here and taken all them out so the next step is up to Eddie. Coming onto Prizefighter wasn’t about the money it was about showing everyone my class what a good boxer I am. I’ve still got that explosive power but I can box as well.’

And as for Eddie Hearn, he was quick to add,

‘He’s one of the few shining lights tonight too many of the guys didn’t put it on the line in the quarter finals but Wadi did and he deserved it.?

‘He’s a colourful character in this division and he’s going to go on and challenge for British titles that’s for sure.’

It?ll be interesting to see just how high up the ranks Camacho can progress, it?ll be interesting to watch his progress.
