This Saturday, at the Glasgow SECC, Ricky Burns returns to the ring after recovering from the broken jaw suffered in the last defence of his WBO lightweight crown.

The Scot, this time around, is putting his belt on the line against the unbeaten and hugely dangerous American, Terence Crawford.

It?s a fight that many believe could see Burns reign as champion end an din the build-up to the contest Crawford has wasted little time in intimating that, on his home turf, all the pressure is on Burns to deliver.

Burns has, no doubt, been under similar pressure before but has always delivered and on the eve of the fight has decreed,

?I?m just trying to put everything to the back of my mind. I?ve just got to go out there and do my job.?

The fight has all the potential to be a thriller and Burns, in my opinion, will have to be on top of his game for the entire twelve rounds. Crawford is a big-puncher and one momentary lapse of concentration could see Burns reign come to an explosive end.

I believe the fight could go either way but instead of sitting on the fence, I have the feeling that having been on the end of a controversial decision in his favour last time, Crawford will leave everybody in no doubt that he is the new champion of the world, sorry Ricky but I call it as I see it!
