After beating Alexandre Lepelley at the weekend, on the Leeds promotion, Ricky Burns has a lot to ponder over.
Although the Scot won every round his performance did nothing to suggest he could become a force in the light-welterweight division.
It?s something that Burns might be pondering over as he contemplates, despite all the protestations about making the weight, of moving back down to lightweight with the Scot remarking after the win,
?Some of the rounds I think I boxed alright.?
?He was very tough and he could take a good shot, at the end of the fourth round my hands were starting to get sore. I moved up to light-welterweight but I?ve got a few big decisions to make over the next couple of weeks about that but I?m just glad to get back with a win.?
Will Burns persevere at light-welterweight or should he drop back down to lightweight?
That is the golden question!
