The promotion, at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, is starting to take shape.

With the promotion being head-lined by the heavyweight unification clash between Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, Eddie Hearn has lined up another world title fight for the bill.

It has been announced that Ryan Burnett will defend his WBA bantamweight belt against the Venezuelan boxer, Yonfrez Parejo,

Sadly, Burnett has had to vacate the IFB belt he also held, a belt he won when he beat Lee Haskins before then going on to grab the WBA title beating Zhanat Zhakiyanov in October.

Talking about the forthcoming fight, 25-year-old Burnett is attributed as having remarked to the media,

‘I’m delighted to be added to this show.

‘It’s going to be an incredible experience to defend my world title in front of 80,000 in Cardiff.

‘We knew that when we faced Zhakiyanov that it was likely we may have to vacate one of the belts because of mandatories but I’ve unified the division and now we move on to new challenges.’

March 31st is looking like it could be an entertaining evening., let’s hope the arena is filling up nicely when Burnett takes to the ring.

Bring it on!
