The last few months has seen British boxing firmly make its mark on the world stage.

Over here in the United Kingdom we?ve a raft of more than decent fighters who have started to claim world titles, with Kell Brook and Lee Selby two names that immediately spring to mind.

There are other big-names waiting for their chance and one of these, Frank Buglioni, now has his date with boxing destiny.

Buglioni will be fighting for the WBA title, next month, against the previously unbeaten Ukrainian fighter Fedor Chudinov.

The bout will be held at the Wembley Arena on July 26th and Buglioni faces a tough task if he is to become our latest world title holder.

In preparation for the fight, it seems that Buglioni prefers to train away from his family and has chosen the fair city of Dublin to hone himself into shape.

In talking about his pre-fight preparations for what will, undoubtedly, be the biggest night of his sporting life, the challenger has remarked to the media,

?It?s a dream come true for me to fight for the world title.

?There are too many distractions at home. I like the solitude that comes in Dublin.

?I get more hungry and get that fight in me. I will be going into the ring as the underdog.

?But, like Rocky, I will pull off a shock and show I?ve turned things around.?

Buglioni will have to, in my opinion, produce the performance of his life to get anywhere near beating Chudinov but as we?ve found out many times in the past, anything can happen in this fine sport of ours!
