After suffering an unexpected defeat last time out, when, in April, he was beaten by Sergey Khomitsky, Frank Buglioni got his career back on track last night.

Fighting Sam Couzens for the Southern Area title, Buglioni got off to the perfect start when a crunching body shot, from his left hand, saw Couzens hit the canvas.

Couzens managed to beat the count and then, in the following two rounds, started to exert himself in the fight and having a degree of success.

However, in round four, the fight came to an end when an attack from Buglioni left Couzens defenceless on the ropes.

Although back to winning ways Buglioni, who was climbing the WBO rankings before suffering that defeat back in April, will need to get a few more wins under his belt before being mentioned as a serious contender again, but he does have time on his side.
