Saturday night is now just around the corner!

The long wait for the hugely anticipated Carl Froch v George Groves re-match is almost over.

Already I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand-up when I concentrate eon what lies ahead. It promises to be a monumental sporting occasion, an event that British fight fans will long remember.

Therefore, I have to admit I am so pleased that Eddie Hearn has secured the services of the best ring announcer in the business, one Michael Buffer, to oversee proceedings.

Buffer, who has a voice synonymous with big Boxing events, made the catch-phrase – let?s get ready to rumble – long before Ant and Dec kind of resurrected their pop careers on the back of re-releasing it.

His dulcet tones bring a certain authority, charm and sense of occasion to a fight and as Michael Buffer heads towards Wembley he?s spoken to the media about just how huge this event is, commenting,

?Froch against Groves in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium is going to be spectacular ? loud and lots of singing.?

?It?s going to be one of those great nights of sport that 40 years from now, grandfathers will tell their children about.?

It certainly is and with Buffer setting the scene, could anybody ask for anything more!
