It would seem that Frank Bruno had to put his somewhat considerably sturdy frame between two former fighters recently, in order to keep the peace.
Reports suggest that at a recent black-tie dinner held by the Boxing Writer?s Club at the Savoy Hotel in London, two former fighters had something of a disagreement.
It would appear that Lloyd Honeyghan and Errol Christie exchanged words and wanted to take matters further with one diner remarking about the situation,
?It looked like they were going to trade lows. Thankfully Frank was there to calm everyone down.?
As for the former middleweight champion Errol, now 51 years of age, he admitted,
?There was a bit of an incident with Lloyd at dinner. No punches were thrown.?
Honeyghan, now 54 years of age, refused to comment.
Gentlemen, surely you should know better at your ages!
Bruno the Peacemaker!
