The legend that is Frank Bruno is making a return to the sport of boxing.

Bruno, who during his career won the WBC version of the heavyweight title, beating Oliver McCall at Wembley in 1995, is to become a trainer.

Frank, one of the most popular fighters in British history, has been granted a trainer?s licence by the British Boxing Board of Control.

Using the social network site, Instagram, Bruno has remarked about his new career,

‘Great to be in the ring coming from a different angle.

‘Looking forward to start training people next year? watch this space.’


Bruno now 55-years-of-age, won 40 of his 45 professional fights and in doing so won 38 by knockout.

He retired from boxing after being beaten by Mike Tyson back in 1996.
