In Sheffield last night (Saturday) at the Ponds Forge Arena, Lucas Browne moved a step nearer to a world heavyweight title fight.
Browne, fighting Eric Martel Bahoeli, took his record to 20-0 with 18 by way of knockout after stopping his opponent in round five.
In beating Bahoeli Brown claimed the vacant Commonwealth and WBC Eurasian Pacific Boxing Council titles with a display that showed he possesses real power.
Browne had Bahoeli on the canvas in the 2nd, 4th and 5th rounds before the referee, Richard James Davies, stopped the fight.
The only blemish on what was a productive nights? work for Browne was a cut he received over the left eye after a clash of heads in round three.
Now could very well be the time to move the impressive punching Browne up through the ranks to see what he really can do.
Brown Stops Bahoeli!
