The much talked about return of the IBF world welterweight champion, Kell Brook, to the ring, continued today with a press conference to reveal who Brook would be fighting in his first defence of his newly acquired title.

After suffering horrific stab injuries whilst on holiday in Tenerife, Brook?s first defence has been delayed but news broke last week that it would be in Sheffield, his home city, at the Motorpoint Arena on March 28th.

A lot of speculation had gone on as to who Brook would face but today it was finally revealed that it would be Romania?s Jo Jo Dan

Brook?s camp are hoping that a fight against what appears to be a hand-picked opponent will see Kell progress and be in the line to take on one of the more illustrious names in the welterweight division.

Two names appear to be in the equation for the next bout with Amir Khan having already been linked and now joined by the Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez.

First though, Brook has to navigate his way past Jo Jo Dan who in 36 fights has won 34 and lost 2.
