Following Kell Brook?s emphatic win last night, against, Rabchenko, could we finally be heading towards the showdown we?ve all craved?
In recent years there has been a lot of talk about two of Britain?s biggest sporting rivals, Kell Brook and Amir Khan, sharing a ring.
With both boxers looking to make a return to the world stage but, more importantly, both boxers now under the management of Eddie Hearn, a fight between the two looks more possible than ever.
Brook has made his successful return to action and now we await and see whether Amir Khan can do the same when he faces the Canadian fighter, Phil Lo Greco, on Liverpool on 21 April.
Talking about the possibility of matching the duo, Eddie Hearn had this to say after Brook had demolished Rabchenko last night,
‘Kell Brook has passed the test, Amir has to pass the test on 21 April.
‘It is the fight everyone wants to see.’
Will it happen?
My gut feeling is that it will now with the winner going on to fight for a world title.
