Confirmation has finally come through regarding Kell Brook’s net defence of his IBF welterweight title.

Brook, as we expected, will climb between the ropes to face the Canadian Kevin Bizier.

Bizier, thirty-one years of age, is the IBF’s mandatory challenger and will face Brook in his home city, of Sheffield, on March 2th.

The original date for the fight fell through after Brook picked up a rib injury in training but has recently remarked about the injury,

‘I’ve fully recovered from the injury and feel stronger than ever.’

A pretty standard response from a fighter coming back from injury.

As for Bizier, he has a record that shows he has only lost twice and that seventeen of his twenty-five wins have come inside the distance.

However, Bizier has lost to Jo Jo Dan who Brook despatched with consummate ease in that first fight back after he was stabbed in the leg whilst holidaying in Tenerife.

Brook to win easily is my first impression, how about you?
