The grapevine is suggesting that an opponent has been found for Kell Brook?s next defence of his IBF welterweight crown.
However, it would seem that a venue for the fight has yet to be decided.
It appears that Brook will be taking on the #5 IBF ranked boxer Kevin Bizier.
Bizier has a record that reads 25-2 with 17 wins coming by way of knockout.
However, it seems that Hearn would like the fight to take place on US soil, giving Brook some further exposure in the United States.
Or is that really the case?
The reason I ask is that the grapevine suggests that the fight could be a hard one to sell in the UK and looking at the record of Bizier it becomes easy to see why.
The two defeats on Bizier?s record both came against Jo Jo Dan, a fighter Brook has already beaten with ease.
Could it be a case that with talk of a huge fight with Amir Khan finally set to happen, Brook is being protected to make sure that the belt he currently holds is still his come May 2016 when a clash with Khan is pencilled in for?
