Having had to postpone his IBF welterweight title defence against Diego Chaves, due to a rib injury, are we about to witness something strange when it comes to Kell Brook?
It appears that Brook is keen to return to the ring on the 12th December on the big Eddie Hearn show at the London O2 Arena.
The O2 Arena show has a top of the bill fight between the two unbeaten British heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte.
If Brook gets his wish, we could have the strange situation whereby a world title fight appears as a support to a fight where nothing as valuable as an IBF world title belt is on the line!
