Brook Stabbed on Holiday Isle!

It would seem that the Canary Island of Tenerife isn?t quite the place to be if you?re connected with the boxing fraternity.

Only a matter of weeks ago Jamie Moore was shot, on the sunshine island and there were fears for his future.

Today we learn that the newly crowned IBF welterweight champion, Kell Brook is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the leg whilst on holiday in Tenerife.

Matchroom, Brook?s promotional stable, have described his condition as ?stable? although a spokesman for the Spanish Civil Guardia has admitted that the boxer had lost a lot of blood, remarking,

‘He was stabbed in the left leg and is hospitalized. He lost a lot of blood.?

‘There are no arrests at this time and the Guardia Civil are investigating.’

Apparently the incident happened at Golf del Sur in San Miguel de Abona, hopefully Kell will make a swift recovery and here at Vital Boxing we?d like to wish him a speedy recovery.
