As Kell Brook waits for his chance to fight for a world title, THE Sheffield welterweight may be contemplating the fact that he may have to go abroad to achieve his dream.

Brook is lined up to face the winner of the IBF title fight between the champion Shawn Porter and the challenger Paulie Malignaggi, this Saturday, at the DC Armory in Washington.

Porter enters the fight as the favourite to leave the ring with his belt, with a record of 23-0-1, with 14 coming by way of knockout, against the challenger who during his career has racked up a record that reads 33-5 with only 7 by way of knockout.

The rumours coming from across the pond are that Porter, if he does triumph, is reluctant to travel to the UK to defend with mutterings about needing to knock out Brook to make sure he isn?t deprived of a win.

Whether Brook fancies taking the fight on American soil might be an option he has no choice over but with a record that stands at 32-0 with 22 by way of knockout, the Sheffield fighter might just be confident of finally getting his hands on a world title wherever he fights.
