It would appear that those who run Boxing are determined to keep Kell Brook waiting for his world title shot.

Brook, looking to take on the IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter, will have to wait a little longer after the IBF gave Porter an exception to allow the champion to fight the former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi.

However, it?s not all bad news for the Sheffield fighter as the IBF have issued the strict stipulation that the winner of the Porter v Malignaggi showdown WILL have to defend the belt against Kell Brook.

Here at Vital Boxing, nothing surprises us when it comes to the way the authorities continue to run our sport the way they see fit and not the way results dictate it should be run.
