This Saturday, at the O2 Arena in London, Anthony Joshua will be making the first defence of the IBF heavyweight crown he won in sensational style when he knocked out Prince Charles Martin, in the second round.
His opponent next Saturday in a fight that tops one of the best bills Eddie Hearn has put together, is the unbeaten American Dominic ?Trouble? Breazeale.
Breazeale arrives in the UK with an outstanding record having won all seventeen of his fights, with fifteen of those wins coming by knockout.
At six feet seven inches tall Breazeale is an imposing figure and he has arrived in the UK looking to rip the IBF heavyweight title from Joshua?s grasp.
Ahead of the bout Breazeale has talked up his chances of taking the belt back to the US, remarking,
?I?m over here with the understanding that I?m doing the a** kicking.
?Anthony Joshua knows he?s in for a war. I?m not going to take a 13-hour plane ride all the way over to London to lay down on the mat, and if I do unfortunately get put down on the mat then I?ve already proven that I can get off the mat and finish the fight.?
It?ll be interesting to see how Joshua approaches this bout, will he box at range and wait for his opportunity or will he fancy his chances of getting win number seventeen in the same sensational style he has gotten all of his previous sixteen wins?
It promises to be an exciting night.
