Now he?s confirmed that he has stepped up from light-heavyweight to a fully-fledged cruiserweight, a few opponents are being bandied about with regards to Tony Bellew?s road ahead.

Already it has been intimated that Bellew might cross swords again with Nathan Cleverly, who has also made the same weight switch, but it would appear that following his defeat at the hands of Adonis Stevenson, Bellew wants to bide his time, a little, before mixing it with the big boys in the division.

Apparently, sources in the media are inferring that Bellew is seeking a fight against the WBC champion, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, before seeking unification bouts with the big boys of the division ? Marco Huck and Yoan Pablo Hernandez.

In all fairness, it?s probably the done thing to have ambition but sat here in the Vital Boxing editorial chair, I?m not sure that Bellew has done enough to jump straight in with the champions?, I reckon he?ll be forced to fight a few fights before that opportunity comes his way!
