After winning the European Boxing Union cruiserweight title in his last fight, beating Mateusz Masternak, the Liverpool fighter Tony Bellew has, surprisingly, relinquished the belt.

Bellew, who has a record that reads 26-2-1 with 16 wins coming by way of knockout, intends to concentrate on getting a title shot against one of the current world champions.

In doing so Bellew has swerved an EBU cruiserweight title defence against Dmytro Kucher. Instead Bellew is looking towards a fight against either:

? Victor Ramirez

? Grigory Drozd

? Krzysztof Glowacki

or

? Denis Lebdev

It remains to be seen who of the quartet Bellew will get to fight and how long he?ll have to wait.
