The brutality of the recent heavyweight clash between David Haye and Tony Bellew continues to generate column inches.
With Haye having had surgery on his Achilles injury, an injury that will see him side-lined for a considerable period of time, it appears that Bellew is also set for a period of recuperation.
It transpires that the victor that night suffered injuries to his right hand which will require surgery.
Bellew has used his twitter account to tweet,
The healing process starts now! With my surgeon @mike_hayton #BestHandSurgeonInTheBusiness
Already the talk is that Bellew could be side-lined for as much as five months.
Here at Vital Boxing we wish both boxers a speedy recovery as they seek to make a return to the ring.
