Reports reaching us suggest that the Liverpool fighter might be looking to fight somebody other than Marco Huck when it comes to a world cruiserweight title fight.

After taking the split decision in the recent domestic tear-up with Nathan Cleverly, it had been though that Bellew?s reward would be a fight for the WBO cruiserweight crown, against Marco Huck, especially as the Bellew v Cleverly contest was billed as a final eliminator for that version of the title.

However, talking to the media, Bellew explains that doesn?t necessarily have to be the case, explaining,

?We are also speaking to the likes of Denis Lebedev.?

?He?s another one who is part of the plans. It?s not just Huck or [Yoan Pablo] Hernandez, Lebedev is an option too. We?ll look down all avenues and see which one suits us best?I will become the best cruiserweight in the world.?

Here at Vital Boxing we?re a little fazed. Surely if the fight against Cleverly was billed as the final eliminator to face the WBO champion then that?s who Bellew should be facing, otherwise the whole scenario becomes a mockery does it not?
