But will the fight be the show-stopper?
On the huge promotion at the London O2 Arena this Saturday evening, Tony Bellew will be appearing on the undercard of a bill topped by the showdown between Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte.
With tickets like gold dust, Bellew is hoping that his cruiserweight fight against Mateusz Masternak, will be the fight everyone is talking about when they head for home.
Bellew enters the fight with a record that reads 25-2-1 with 16 of those wins coming by way of knockout, whilst Masternak will enter the ring with a record that reads 36-3 with 26 coming by way of knockout.
The fight is for the vacant EBU cruiserweight title and Bellew, in probably talking up the fight, rates it as a 50-50 fight.
We?re not sure that?s the case, Masternak has defeats against the likes of Johnny Muller, Grigory Drozd and Youri Kayembre Kalenga on his record, three fighters who are hardly top-class.
Bellew?s belief that this is a fight that could be the show-stopper could well be based on the fact that the crowd will be talking about the quick stoppage Bellew might be capable of pulling off, nothing else.
