With a venue and a date, according to Eddie Hearn, set to be announced soon for the second collision of Tony Bellew and Nathan Cleverly, both boxers have lit the verbal touch paper.

Bellew, who was beaten by Cleverly in their first fight (at light-heavyweight) has come out all guns blazing and has remarked about his next opponent,

?I don?t just want to beat him, I want to finish him.?

?He won?t want to get in the ring ever again after our fight. Putting the record straight means more to me than a world title.?

Whereas Cleverly who, unlike Bellew, has been a world title holder, has been a little more reserved commenting about Bellew,

?I?ve always said I will fight him any time, anywhere. The result will be another Nathan Cleverly victory.?

All I hope is that during the build-up a degree of civility is maintained and that the whole venture doesn?t descend into a vitriolic farce.

As for a winner, ask me nearer the time!
