Fighting on the under-card at the Waterfront Hall, in Belfast, last night was the twice Olympic Bronze medallist, Paddy Barnes.

Having his second professional fight, Barnes was matched with the Argentinian fighter, Adrian Dimas Garzon.

After his first professional fight, against Stefan Slachev, ended in farcical fashion with his opponent being disqualified for lifting Barnes off of his feet, his second fight was far more satisfactory.

Barnes produced a dominant display against Garzon to win on points with the referee scoring the fight 60-54 in favour of the Belfast flyweight.

Barnes record now moves to 2-0 with the promise of more to come.
