Based in Stuttgart, ahead of his IBF world title clash with Felix Sturm, this Saturday, I?d imagine the Chelsea supporting Darren Barker will be taking time out from training tonight to see how Chelsea do up at Sunderland, in the Premier League.

With three days to go until the fight, Barker has recalled the last time he was in Germany and a day he?ll never forget when his beloved Chelsea overcame Bayern Munich to win the Champions League Final, with Darren remarking,

?I was in Munich on my 30th birthday when Chelsea won the Champions League and I went to the after-party with the players. It was mental ? it was a birthday and night that I?ll never forget. Just like Chelsea, I?m confident I can return home with the belt.?

?There were thousands of Chelsea boys there that night Chelsea won. I?ve got about 1,000 going out to my fight so I hope I can give them a night to remember too.?

?They will make themselves heard on fight night and Felix won?t know what?s hit him at the weigh-in because they?ll make such a racket.?

Here?s hoping the challenger is a little unsettled because I reckon Darren will have to be at his best to keep Sturm at bay, but, with three days to go, my money is still on Barker to keep his belt.

How about you?
