Tonight, in Birmingham, Alabama, the WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will make a defence of his belt.
Wilder who has a professional record of 36-0 with 35 of those wins coming by way of the big knockout, will be taking on the hard-hitting Chris Arreola, who has a record of 36-4-1 with 31 of those wins coming by knockout.
Arreola, ranked #9 by the WBC, will be a dangerous opponent and will be looking to get inside the long reach of Wilder to land his own big punches whilst trying to avoid the wild swings Wilder catches his opponents with.
Yesterday the weigh-in for the heavyweight title fight took place, Wilder tipped the scales at 226.2 pounds whilst Arreola was heavier at 246.2 pounds.
Could tonight see the belt change hands?
Our view is that Wilder could be in for a hard fight but one we expect him to come through and call out Anthony Joshua for a unification fight.
