Across the pond last night, did a new contender for super-middleweight world title honours emerge?
At the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, Andre Dirrell re-established his credentials as a possible future opponent for a fight title fight.
Taking on Nick Brinson, Dirrell produced a stunning 4th round knockout to take his record to 23-1 with 16 knockouts whilst also justifying his rating as the #9 WBC rated contender!
Dirrell is looking to remain busy with a fight scheduled for December but one opponent he?ll not be fighting is his brother Anthony who is currently the WBC super-middleweight champion and who George Groves team have their sights on, but then again if Groves were to claim the WBC belt could he be facing both the Dirrell brothers in consecutive fights?
Another on the Super-Middleweight Title Scene?
