Some boxers wait an age to get a world title fight, other never reach that dizzy height.

Occasionally a boxer comes through the professional ranks with such pedigree he gets a shot at a world title very early in his career, fight wise.

One such boxer is Andrew Selby.

It has been announced that Selby will be fighting for the WBC International Flyweight title on February 4th, at the Olympia London, as he closes in on a real version of the world title.

Selby will be appearing on the undercard of the super-middleweight world title fight between Chris Eubank Jnr and Renold Quinlan.

Selby?s opponent at London Olympia will be Ardin Diale, a fighter from the Phillipines who has a record that reads 32-4-10.

It?ll be a test for Selby but one he is capable of winning.

And as for that opening gambit about some fights being of such exceptional talent world title chances come early, Selby takes this next step towards glory having had just seven fights, all of which he?s won.
