The verbal sparring going on between Floyd Mayweather Junior and Amir Khan continues to provide something to talk about.

Having been chastised by Mayweather over the fact the US doesn?t consider him a big enough draw to share the ring with a boxer who believes he is the best pound-for-pound out there, Amir has responded in some style.

The Bolton man, delivering a verbal counter-punch of his own, has delivered a replay that could make Mayweather think again, with Amir responding,

?So I?m not a big name in Boxing? I bring things to the table that Floyd never could ? places like Dubai, Pakistan and India, where they might not know anything about Floyd but they know Amir Khan.

?The kind of following I have in these countries, America and the UK puts me up there with the best box-office fighters.

?A fight with Mayweather will not only sell in England or the United States, it will sell in places all around the world, I bring all that to the table and with it comes the big money.

?For Floyd to say I am not a big name is way off the mark. I would help raise his profile on the other side of the world.?

Good stuff from Khan and if he is trying to tempt Mayweather into a fight, the following few remarks might see the Mayweather camp jump to the negotiating table with Amir recalling a story that goes,

?Before my fight against Alexander, I jumped into a taxi and got talking to the driver who said everyone hates Mayweather.

?The driver said to me ?If you ever fight him, I hope you knock him out?. They hope it will humble him, but I don?t know if it will.?

So how about it Floyd?

Are you ready for the challenge or are you ducking our man again?
