As Martin Murray prepares for what is generally acknowledged as a make-or-break fight against Arthur Abraham for the WBO super-middleweight title, we have the news from the all-important weigh-in.
Stepping onto the scales, in Hannover, the weights were officially announced as follows:-
? Martin Murray ? 166.25 pounds
? Arthur Abraham ? 168.00 pounds
Talking about his thoughts on finally claiming a world title, at the fourth attempt, Murray had this to say to Sky Sports,
?It?s my time. I?m at my natural weight and I?m looking forward to it.
?In his [Abraham] last two performances, he?s looked good but I feel I?m getting into my prime. Timing is everything in boxing. There has been dodgy decisions in the way, but everything happens for a reason, and tomorrow is going to be my night, that and movement.
?He nicks rounds, but I?m going to stay a little bit more busy.?
Here at Vital Boxing we?d like to take this opportunity to wish Martin Murray all the best and we hope he can bring the WBO belt back to the UK.
