Has Amir Khan finally admitted that he has had trouble making the weight as a light-welterweight?

Well it would appear so!

Now that Amir has stepped up a weight to welterweight, to take on Devon Alexander, in New York on 7th December, for the American?s IBF crown, Amir is quoted in the media as having remarked,

?Now I won?t have to worry about the weight.?

?This is the first time I?ve trained between fights because this is a big one.?

?If I won, I?ll be a three-time world champion at two weights. I miss being a world champion.?

The weight difference may only be a few pound but when you are right on the limit, those last few pounds you shed can really take it out of you.

Could those few pounds he doesn?t have to shift see a renaissance for the Bolton fighter?
