This Saturday, in Manchester, promises to be a marvellous evening.

It?ll be interesting to see who comes out on top in the main bout, but it?s also fair to say that the under-card, even though injury has stopped Anthony Joshua from fighting, there are some interesting fights.

One of them sees the return to the ring of the British middleweight, Martin Murray, however, the choice of opponent is a little puzzling.

The matchmaker has paired Murray with the 39 year-old Sergey Khomitsky, who has a record of 28-9-2, with 11 by knockout.

Now I call it puzzling because Murray fought Khomitsky four years ago, getting the decision over eight rounds.

Since then Murray has become a world title contender whilst Khomitsky has, how do we put it, gotten four years older.

We expect Murray to stop his man but we?d ask what does it tell us about Murray we didn?t already know?
