News broke this afternoon that the city of Bristol will host an interim world title fight.

It seems that the reigning IBF champion, Randy Caballero is unable to defend his IBF bantamweight title after picking up an ankle injury in training.

One man?s misfortune has resulted in another man?s good-fortune with Bristol?s Lee Haskins being selected to take on the Japanese fighter, Ryosuke Iwasa on the 13th June.

This represents wonderful opportunity for the 31-year-old European champion to make his mark at world level, here at Vital Boxing we wish lee all the best and will be rooting for him.
