On its day, there?s no denying that boxing can be a thrilling sport.
But, the introduction of so many governing bodies has produced a plethora of world champions that in, some ways, diminishes the value of the title.
Therefore it?s interesting to read that plans are afoot to bring in a competition that will match the best fighters in the world.
The idea being vaunted by a new venture, named Comosa AG, is that there will be a shoot-out tournament with sixteen of the world?s best fighters competing for $50 million.
Giving an insight into the idea is the head of Comosa?s management board, Robert Dalmiglio, who has remarked,
‘It is Comosa’s ambition to turn the World Boxing Super Series into the world’s biggest and best boxing tournament.?
It is suggested this new concept could start as soon as September.
