I have to admit I was one of those who thought Eddie Hearn might have been a little over-enthusiastic in believing a Froch v Groves re-match could sell out Wembley Stadium.

Well it appears I have egg on my face and need to treat myself to a large slice of humble pie!

That?s because tickets went on sale today for the 31st May showdown and within an hour a colossal 60,000 tickets had been sold indicating that Hearn had gauged it correctly.

Now I?m certain that Hearn will shift the tickets remaining and we?ll have a full house for what, just as Hearn suggested, will be an event that only happens once a decade.
