Last time out Scott Quigg held on to his WBA super-bantamweight title courtesy of a majority draw against Yoandris Salinas.

Well Scott has wasted little time in returning to the ring as it has been announced that he will defend the reference title against the Argentine fighter, Diego Silva.

The bout will take place on November 23rd, at the Manchester Arena and will be the chief support bout to the eagerly awaited super-middleweight clash between Car Froch and George Groves.

Also on the Manchester Arena bill on that night are two of our Olympic heroes Anthony Joshua and Luke Campbell.

Joshua has been matched against Hector Avila who will be best remembered for taking Dereck Chisora nine rounds, when they met.

As yet we have no information relating to an opponent for Hull?s Campbell.

Also featuring on the bill will be Michael Murray, Anthony Crolla, Rocky Fielding, Kal Yafai, Callum Smith and Scotty Cardle in what is shaping up to be a monumental fight-night.
